PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COHORTS

This summer, we will host a few cohorts designed to give student managers and graduate assistants an immersive experience in basketball. Our Professional Development Cohorts are intensive, multi-week programs each focused on a specific area of a career in basketball.

In the Director of Basketball Operations Cohort, college basketball DOBOs lead participants in exercises that mimic real-world scenarios. They will create mock official visit itineraries, basketball camps, and a mock road trip.

Applications for our Film and Analytics Cohort will open early July. We are partnering with Hudl to bring participants free access to Hudl Sportscode. Hudl will also provide immersive instruction on their analytic sports technology. Participants will complete mock projects giving them experience in all things SportsCode.

The NBA Scouting Cohort will be led by scouts currently working for NBA teams. Sessions include work on defensive scouting reports, player fit evaluations, and NBA Draft scouting.

Each Cohort will have a capped number of participants. Certain programs require technology that we will not provide (ex. Macs for Film/Analytics and NBA Scouting Cohorts). For any specific programming questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with Jake Cerota via email at Jakecerota@gtghoops.com.
